It covers the sealed system performing as described, kept performing with re-treatment on a rhythm we track for you. Issued by JUMBOGUARD, applied to a certified standard, registered to your job. Here's exactly what that means.

We seal to JUMBOGUARD spec and register the result. If a properly registered seal doesn't perform as described within its term, JUMBOGUARD backs the remedy set out in the guarantee, because Extera is Certified to apply it.

How ten years works
Two clocks, both in the open.
A single coat doesn't last a decade untouched. No sealer does, and we won't pretend otherwise. Here's the honest version, up front, so there's no fine print at claim time.
The care clock
~1–3 years per coat
One application keeps performing for roughly one to three years, depending on the surface and how hard it's used. Re-treatment restores it. We track when yours is due and aim to reach out before it is, so you don't have to remember.
The guarantee clock
10 years, fixed
The guarantee runs the full decade over the top. It covers the sealed system performing as described, kept performing by re-treatment on the care rhythm. Running a little late never switches it off: a lapse only affects a claim to the extent it actually caused the problem.
Glass runs on its own clock: GlassProtect is guaranteed 10 years on new glass and 5 years on existing glass; MineralProtect runs the full 10 years. Your certificate shows the term for your job.
On top of your rights: this guarantee sits on top of your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, never instead of them.
Honest boundaries
What's covered, and what isn't.
A guarantee only means something if the boundaries are clear. The definitive terms are in your certificate; this is the plain-English version.
Covered
- The coating's repellency function: the treated surface keeps repelling water and oil-based contamination better than an untreated one, for the registered term.
- Workmanship of the application by Extera's certified applicators.
- Registration and documentation for your job.
- The remedy if a registered seal fails to perform: re-treatment of the affected area by a certified applicator.
Not covered
- Physical wear, abrasion, scratching or scuffing.
- Etching or damage from acids, alkalis or impact.
- Weathering or fading of the surface material itself.
- Staining from spills left uncleaned for too long.
- Surfaces not prepared to spec, or unsuitable substrates.
- Deposits coming back: the coating makes them easier to remove; it doesn't stop them landing.

Registering your job is where the relationship starts, not where it ends. You're looked after when it's time to reseal, and rewarded for every neighbour you send us.
